Normally land/water features can be hard to resolve in METEOR images where there is no snow or ice cover. However, this subset from a mid-February RESURS O1-N4 pass had the advantage of good lighting and interesting weather to highlight some fascinating features. Southern Florida and Cuba (across the bottom of the image subset) are neatly defined by innumerable tightly-packed cumulus clouds. East of Florida, the shallow, coral-rich waters of the Bahamas Banks show up with remarkable clarity.
