The beauty of the classic riverboat is that formal docking arrangements are not required, as evidence on our first morning when we visted Helena, Arkansas. This casual docking capability came in handly later in the trip when a passenger suffered a serious health problem. The Captain carefully maneuvered the "Queen" to the shore, put out the ramp, and transferred the passenger to the of local emergency personnel.
