An Alaskan Sampler

In June of 2005 my wife Alison and I had the delightful experience of cruising the Inside Passage of southeast Alaska in an elegant sternwheeler, the Empress of the North. A shot a lot of stereo with my van Ekeren P43 twin-rig and just a few samples are shown below. The trip was unforgetable and the stereo camera delivered very nice pictures under a range of challenging conditions.

The interior accomodations of the Empress of the North are quite striking. Here is a fresh floral arrangement at the entrance of the Romanoff-style dinig room.
