Logging Wayne's signal was a bit of a surprise. I heard a faint but distinct SSTV signal on 144.175 and managed to get ChromaPix fired up a few seconds after the image started. Wayne was in QSO with Gedas (W8BYA) and it is obvious he is an avid EME operator.

Band conditions were certainly not good our first evening and a heavy snow was falling. Despite this, we were able to exchange pictures despite the fact I never could get Q5 copy on his voice transmissions.
